Mrs. Ira W. Clark, 68, of 116 Center St. died at 5:18 a.m. today in Jameson Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.
She was born in New Castle July 23, 1898, to the late George and Cora Burnette Palmer. She had been married to Ira W. Clark for 50 years.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the First Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her husband and five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Georgette) Book, Mrs. Leo (Charlotte) Faleski, Mrs. Auburn (Anna
Mae) Honaker, all of New Castle, Mrs. Carl (Janet) Jackson in California and Mrs. Albert (Joan) Andrascik of Chicago; two
sons, Samuel and Leroy of New Castle; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the William F. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 and 9 p.m. Sunday.
The service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with Rev. R. G. Mohrman of First Pentecostal Church officiating.
Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery.
