These Schell Reunion's was held at the home of Jim and Rhoda (Schell) Oakes. Those who remember attending
remember cleaning out the barn where the reunion was held. This reunion was held before 1931.

FAMILY HANDMADE QUILTS
Margaret (Reigher) Polley, born 8-17-1807 in Transfer, PA died 1-3-1892.
The widow of Abner H. Polley Sr., born March 2, 1802 and died 11-20-1842, he drown in lake Erie when returning
from New York after purchasing bolts of fabic, chairs and other furnishings for his household. He was on the boat
that sunk and the furnishings was on another boat that made the delivery safely. Their son, Abner H. Polley Jr. was born 3-22-1843,
four months after his fathers death and Margaret lived with her son and helped raise his family.
Margaret (Reigher) Polley is related to the Schell because her daughter Emeline Polley married William (twin)
Schell.
