SAMUEL WESLEY CLARK; FORMER CIRCUS EMPLOYEE
Samuel Wesley Clark, 67, of 506 Countyline St. died at 8:45 p.m. April 9, 1992 in St. Francis Hospital.
He was born in New Castle on May 9, 1924 to Ira "Elmo" and Maude Palmer Clark.
Surviving is his wife of 28 years, the former Donna Jean Ward.
Mr. Clark was a former employee of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus.
He was past member of the Lawrence County R.E.A.C.T.
In addition to his wife, he is survivied by a daughter, Violet Clark Firestone of Revenna, Ohio; a son, Samuel Walker Clark of New Castle; a step-daughter, Marsha Lee Ward of New Castle; three sisters Anna Mae Honaker, Janet Jackson, and Joan Conrad, all of New Castle; and two grandchildren.
He was proceded in death by his paretns; two sisters Charlotte Faleski and Georgetta Book; and a brother, James E. Clark.
Arrangements are by the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funerla Home Inc., 941 S. Mill St., where visitation be observed 2 to 4 abd 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at DeCarbo's by the Rev. F. Dickson Marshall of theCIty Rescue Mission. Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery.
