Mrs. Charles M. Brown
Mrs. Edith B. Brown, 77, of Navarre, Ohio, formerly of West Sunbury, R.D.1, died at 2 p.m. Monday in the Massillon
(Ohio) Community Hospital, after an illness. Born in Butler, July 15, 1911, she was the daughter of Clarence Everett and
Mary Hughes Schell. She was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of America. Her husband, Charles M. Brown,
died Dec. 19, 1980. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Callen of Harlingen, Texas, Mrs. James (Elinor)
Beck of Pueblo, Colo., Mrs. James (Leona) Barnes of Petrolia R.D.1, Mrs. Margaret Cloverdale of Massillon, Ohio, and Mrs.
Boyd (Charlotte) Brown of Navarre; two sons, Charles G. Mackey of Longs, S.C., and Donald Mackey of Butler, two brothers,
Raymond E. Schell of Valencia and Robert Schell of Spokane, Wash; two step-daughters Mrs. Alex (Betty) Dallos of Butler and
Mrs. Daniel (Janis) Noblit of Butler R.D.1; two step-sons Charles M. Brown Jr., of Butler and Richard L. Brown of Battleground,
Wash.; 18 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
BROWN - Friends of Mrs. Edith B. Brown of Navarre, Ohio, formerly of West Sunbury R.D.1, who died Monday, Nov. 7, 1988,
will be received at the Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home, with Leonard Hendrickson officiating. Burial will
be in North Cemetery, Butler. Arrangements by Young.
