WELL - KNOWN BUTLER BARBER DIES AT 43
Harry E. Schell, age 43, of 203 Mackey Avenue, well known barber of Butler, died at Butler County Memorial
Hospital at 1:10 o'clock Sunday morning, following a week's illness. Born in Mercer County, he has residence in butler
and vicnity the greater part of his life. For many years he operated a barber shop at 203 Mackey Avenue. Surviving are
his widow, Mrs. Hazel Schlagel Schell; a daughter Ethel Schell, at home; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. William Blake
Schell of Warren, O; four sisters, Mrs. William Griffith of Warren, O., Mrs. Essa Ritenour of Sylvania, O., Mrs. Archie
Ritenour of Grove City, and Mrs. Roy Rhyle (Rihel) of Harrisville, a brother, Lawrence E. Schell of Warren, O. He was a
member of St. Paul's Reformed Church. The body was removed to the Thompson Funeral home, East North Street and McKean Street,
where friends will be received until noon Tuesday. Funeral Services will be held from St, Paul's Reformed Church at 2:30
o'clock. Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Harvey T. Goodling, Pastor of the Church officiating. Burial will be in the St. John
Reformed Cemetery, Butler Township.
