Mrs. Clara E. Bishop

Mrs. Clara W. Bannon Bishop, 91 of
214 N. Ray St.,
died at 5:10 a.m. June 16, 1979
in the Haven Convalescent Home, 725 Paul St., after an extended illness.
She was born in Youngstown,
Ohio, on Jan. 14 1888 to the late Albert
and Susanna Bannon. She was a former cool at the Tasty Bite Lunch, which was located in South Jefferson
Street for 13 years.
Mrs. Bishop was a member of St. Mary’s
Church.
She was married to Walter J. Bishop
who died Nov. 2, 1967.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs.
Margaret E. Trakas of New Castle and a sister Mrs. Della Davis of New
Castle.
She was preceded in death by her husband
and a brother.
Friends will be received at the J.
Bradley McGonigle Memorial Home Inc., 111W. Falls St. from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Sunday. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary Church by the Rev. Eugene J. Dougherty. Burial will follow the mass in St. Mary Cemetery.
