Benjamin Franklin Schell, a resident of Mercer Co. for 99 years, died at 4:30 a.m. today at his home, 881 Bechtol Ave., after a two year illness.
A retired watchman for the Valley Mould and Iron Corp., Hubbard, Mr. Schell was born in New Hamburg, June 7, 1862, the son of William and Emaline Polly Schell.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph D. Rock, Sharon and Mrs. Emma Winger, Sharon Rd; 25 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
