SCHELL- ZIMMER RITES
SANDY LAKE CHURCH EVENT
Miss Hester Harrie Zimmer, Polk R.D.1, and Henry Paul Schell, Sandy Lake, exchanged vows in the Sandy Lake
United Presbyterian Church in a late afternoon wedding, Oct. 26. Rev. Warren Corbett, pastor of the Penn- Alpha Larger Parish,
was the officiating clergyman for the 4:30 o'clock double ring rites.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zimmer. She was graduated from Sandy Lake High School in
the Class of 1950, and is employed in the Sandy Lake Five and Ten Store. Pfc. Schell, a graduate of Sandy Lake High School,
Class of 1951, is serving with the U.S. Army and expects overseas assignment in the near future.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a blue and brown checked suit, complimented by
light blue accessories and a gardenia corsage.
Attending the bride was her sister, Miss Agnes Zimmer, who wore a dark brown suit with beige accessories.
Best man for Mr. Schell was his brother, William Schell of Cooperstown.
Only the immediate families were present for the ceremony and they were later received at an informal reception
in the bride's home.
Pfc. Schell and his bride are on an undisclosed honeymoon, at the conclusion of which he is to report for
overseas duty and Mrs. Schell will return home.

in honor of their 50th wedding
anniversary.
Their children are Mark and
Alexa Schell,
Sandy Lake, and
Scott Schell, Cochranton.
The former Esther Zimmer
and Schell were married Oct.
26, 1953, in Sandy
Lake by the
Rev. Warren Corbett.
Mr. Schell retired from
Cooper Energy Services Reciprocating
Products former
plant
in Grove City.
Mrs. Schell retired from
Lakeview School District.
Four grandchildren complete
the family.
