WARREN - Pauline Ruth Swick Rihel, 71, of Warren died at 9:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at St. Joseph Health Center
in Warren.
She was born Sept. 2, 1937, in Rockford, Ill., the daughter of Paul W.E. and Marion Elizabeth Lantz Swick.
Pauline graduated from East High School in Rockford.
She worked for 30 years at Delphi Packard Electric as a mold operator trainer, retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed machine knitting and was a member of the Mahoning Machine Knitting Guild.
Pauline loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She enjoyed
camping.
Her husband of 34 years, Lawrence W. Rihel, whom she married May 29, 1954, preceded her in death March 2, 1989.
Pauline is survived by one son, Larry P. (Nancy) Rihel of Warren; two daughters, Laura R. (Ron) Hanck and Kathleen A. (Frank)
Guzan, both of Warren; 11 grandchildren, Shari (Jason) McCourt, Lawrence R. Rihel, Evelyn (Shaun) Armistad, Steven C. Guzan,
Ira Rihel, Michael W. Hanck, Kristine E. Guzan, Michael T. (Nicole), Eric R. and Jessica L. Kovarovic, and Patrick H. Fritz;
eight great-grandchildren; six sisters, Joan Anderson of Chicago, Marie Ellison of Rockford, Louise Parks of Madeira, Calif.,
Antoinette "Toni" Cartwright of McChesney Park, Ill., Kristine Carlson of Loves Park, Ill., and Marge Graham of Rockford.
Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 6
to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday, with
Pastor Anita Rayburn officiating.
Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
