Mrs. Thelma Florence Spurlock passed away April 5th 2008 at St. Paul's Homes Greenville,
PA. She was 82. Thelma was born on November 15th, 1925 in Sandy Lake PA to Fred Schell and Ezma Blair Schell. She went on
to work as a certified nurses aide in Greenville hospital where she retired from after many years of work. Her pride was always
in her family whom she worked very hard to care for. Though times were difficult, Thelma never stopped working for her six
children's futures. Mrs. Spurlock was fond of her time playing bingo and she loved country-western music. She was also active
in her church the New Apostolic Church of Greenville, PA. Later in life she was blessed with grandchildren that she loved
to care for and spend time with.
Mrs. Spurlock is survived by six children: Patricia Lobins and her husband Samuel
of Conneaut Lake, PA; Richard H. Spurlock and his wife Salle of Greenville, PA; Douglas Spurlock and his wife Diane of Greenville,
PA; Thelmene Joyce. McGuire of Greenville, PA; Thelma Joy Tate and her husband Kenneth of Greenville, PA; and Dwayne Spurlock
and his wife Beth of Gibsonia, PA. She is also survived by a brother Wesley Schell of FL, and sisters Freda Alabran of Greenville,
PA and Clara Schell of Sharon, Pa.; 20 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; Pam Schell a sister-in-law; Clotilda Schell
a sister-in-law; Joseph Davis, a brother in law.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Eugene Schell
and Richard "Dick" Schell and 1 sister, Margaret Davis.
Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home, 14 Louisa Avenue,
Greenville, PA from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday April 10, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel
at 6:00 PM on Thursday April 10, 2008 directly following the visitation with the New Apostolic Church of Greenville, PA leading
services. Cremation will follow.
