MARY GREENE

New Castle native Mary H. Keith Greene, 87, who has ties to a local church, died the afternoon of July 19, 1999, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage.

Born in New Castle on Dec. 25, 1911, she was the daughter of Charles and Helen Pry Keith.

She married Oscar L. Greene on Oct. 26, 1929. He died on March 19, 1971.

A homemaker, Mrs. Greene was a former resident of Farrell and Sharon.

She was affiliated with First Assembly of God Church of New Castle.

Mrs. Greene belonged to Sharon Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Greene of Sharon, and Kenneth Greene of Farrell; a daughter, Shirley Davison of Ellicott, MD, seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the A.E. Pustinger Funeral Home, 1310 Idoho St., Farrell. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home by the Rev. Kenneth M. Meyer. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
