C. Bridges

After a long
illness, Mrs. Florence Emily Clark Bridges, age 43, wife of John C. Bridges, 1724 Pennsylvania Avenue, passed away in the Jameson
Memorial Hospital this morning at 7:30 o’clock.
Mrs. Bridges,
born in New Castle on November 16, 189,
daughter of Frank J. and Emma S. Keith Clark, had spent all her life here, had
spent all life here, and for 29 years had been married to Mr. Bridges, who survives her. She was a member of Central Christian
Church.
Survivors, in
addition to her husband, are the following children, Mrs. Ella Mae Marshall, Mrs. Doris Brightshue, Miss Ruth Bridges, William
Bridges, Alfred Bridges, and Charles Bridges, all of New Castle; the following
brothers and sisters, Earl Clark, Paul Clark, Herman Clark, and Mrs. Margaret Kelly, all of New Castle, and a brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Wilk, Euclid, O.
The body has
been removed to the Ritchie funeral home; South Mill Street, where the
family will be receive friends this evening from 7 to 9
o’clock.
Funeral arrangements
are not completed.

Largely attended
funeral services for Mrs. John C. Bridges, 1724 Pennsylvania Avenue, were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock
from the Ritchie funeral home south Mill Street, with rev. Sidney K. Bliss, pastor of Central Christian Church, officiating.
Pallbearers were
Charles Marshall, Harry Marshall, Brinley Owens, Ivor Daniels, Thomas Freed and Frank Flynn.
Interment was
in Graceland Cemetery.
