Ralph B. Black Sr.

Ralph B. Black Sr., 421 Malleable St., Sharon died at 7:15 a.m. today (1-30-80) in Sharon General Hospital after an extended illness. He was 73.
Mr. Black was born in Sharpsville July
12, 1906, to Charles and Amanda Shots Black.
For 35 years, he had been employed at Sharon Steel
Corp., where he was an operator in the stainless department. He retired in 1969.
He was a member of Covenant United Presbyterian Church, Sharon.
Surviving are his wife, the former, Betty Wingerd, whom he married in 1935; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Norma Jean) Stafford and Mrs. James (Karen Sue) Wilson, both
of Sharon; five sons, Ralph Black Jr., Robert L., Hermitage; James Richard and Ronald Keith, both of New Wilmington, and Mark
Allen, with the Navy in Hawaii; tow brothers, Earl, Vienna, Ohio, and James Bradley, Pa; 19 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
