LAURA G. RIHEL
WARREN---Laura Grace Rihel, 92, 3009 Judyth St.
died of congestive heart failure at
5:40 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001 at
Community Skilled Care Center.
She was born April 5, 1908, in
Butler, Pa, a daughter of William B and
Mary Emma Pettigrew Schell, and lived in
the area most of her life.
Mrs. Rihel was a homemaker. She was a
member of Newton Falls Church of the
Nazarene and enjoyed crocheting, and
gardening, listening to the Bible on tape
and country gospel music.
Her husband, Roy Henry Rihel, whom she married
July 9, 1927, died May 3, 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Linnie Jane Sharlock
and Alice Markle, both of Warren, two sons, Raymond
of Warren, and Robert J. of NIles; 30 grandchildren,
70 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Leroy and Larry; three daughters, Betty Rihel,
Esther Watt, and Mary Helen Bell; two brothers,
Harry and Lawrence Schell; three sisters; Clara Griffith,
Cecil Ritenour and Ollie Harriwaldt; two grandchildren;
and a great-grandchild, are deceased.
The funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carl W. Hall
Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday.
Burial is in Pineview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in
Warren.
