DAVID E. MARKLE
WARREN------David E. Markle, 63, 146 Nevada St. S.W., died at
8 a.m. Thursday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital
following a brief illness. On April 3, 1997.
A lifetime area resident, he was born
April 12, 1933, in Girard, a son of the late
John W. and Margaret M. Batesole Markle.
Mr. Markle retired in 1981 as an assistant roller
at VanHuffel Tube, where he had worked 16 years.
He was a member of National Association of
Uniform Services (NAUS) and the Wonder Club and
had enjoyed crossword puzzles, sports and woodworking.
Mr. Markle served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
He leaves his wife, Alice L. Rihel Markle, whom he married
April 5, 1958, two sons, David A. and Thadd S. Markle,
both at home, two daughters, Miss Carol A. Markle, at home,
and Mrs. Charles (Renee S.) Anderson, Jr. of Warren; two
brothers, Laurel "Hardy" and Charles Markle, both of Warren
three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Williams of Champion, Mrs. Joe
(Betty) Dziak of Warren and Margaret Coffee of Champion; six
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A brother, Harry; and two sisters, Nancy Marzano, and infant
sister are deceased.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday in Robert H. Robers-Clark
Memorial Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.
today.
Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Park.
