Connie Marie Armstrong and Gregory Charles Schell were married July 13, 1991, in Immaculate Heart Church, Mercer. The Rev. Patrick Healy officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mrs. John Armstrong of Mercer and Mr. and Mrs. James Schell of New Wilmington.

Lisa Brucker of Painsville, Ohio, was maiden of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Wendy Renshaw, bride’s aunt of Tecumseh, Mich., Darlene Shearer, groom’s sister, Susan Armstrong of Erie and Patty Ferritto of Erie. Lauri Schell was junior bridesmaid.

Mark Kossack of Aliquippa was best man. Ushers were Tim McKnight, Brad Schell, groom’s brother, Dan Kossack, Doug Armstrong, bride’s brother of Erie. Mike Ferritto of Erie was junior usher.

Tina Greig served as soloist/director. Singers were Tammy Coppage, Paulo Graham, Brian Kyle, Jennifer Kyle, and Brian McNamee. Organist was Jim Duncan of Mercer.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Schell, grooms brother and sister-in-law were readers. Offertory gifts were presented by Mr. and Mrs. Al Renshaw, bride’s uncle and aunt of Erie. Wheeler Maxwell of Lemayne, Pa., was alter boy.

A reception took place at Good Shepard Church Hall, West Middlesex. After a trip to the Poconos, the couple resides in New Wilmington.

The bride is employed by Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV, Grove City.

Her husband is an aircraft mechanic with the Air Force Reserves based in Vienna, Ohio.
