Joseph F. Delp

Joseph F. Delp, aged 62, of R.D. 2, Sunny Village, died in the Jamison Memorial Hospital, at 11:05 p.m. Sunday, following an illness of the past three months.
Born in Clearfield Co., PA, August 30,
1893, he was the son of Louis and Anna Woodrow Delp. He had resided here for
36 years and was a mason foreman for the allied Engineering Co.
Mr. Delp was married 41 years ago to Elizabeth Schell.
He was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church; the local L.O.O.M. No. 51 and the Local No. 17 of the Bricklayers
Union.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Schell Delp; the children Mrs. Dorothy Schu of Birmingham Ala.; Mrs. Wilma Leasure, Chicago Heights, Ill.; Mrs. Betty Leasure, R.D. 2, Sunny Village; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Ferrce, Ellwood City; Mrs. Grace McCracken, this city; Mrs. Gertrude
Burton, Export, Pa.; seven grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from John Mechan Funeral Home, Highland at Lincoln Ave., with Rev. Henry B. Strock, Jr. in charge. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9
p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
