D. Keith VanFossan, 66, of 116 N. Walnut St. died at 8:15 p.m. yesterday in Waterford, Va.

He was born July 16, 1900, in Hazelwood, Pa, to Daniel and Margaret Keith VanFossan. He was married to Margaret Thornton who survives.

Mr. VanFossan retired form the Pennsylvania Power Co., was a member of Northminster UP Church. He was a former scoutmaster of Troop 1, sponsored by the Rotary Club, and was active in local scouting and sports. Surviving are his wife; three sons, William of Woodland, Calif., Samuel of New Wilmington, and Daniel at home; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Hamill of Lakewood, Calif; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Leyde-Tanner Mortuary. The service will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
