Charles B. Keith

Charles B. Keith, of 327 South Croton Avenue, a resident of the Dean apartments, died this morning at 1:40 a.m. in the Jameson Memorial Hospital. Death was due to complications.

Born in New Castle, PA, on April 1886, the son of the late Michael and Dora Shell (Schell) Keith he was a lifetime resident of New Castle and before his retirement was employed by the city of New Castle Street Department.

His maws married for forty years to Lillian Keith, who preceded him in death in August 1954. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving is one daughter. Mrs. Oscar Greene, of Sharon, PA, two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Reitzel and Mrs. Margaret Simpson of New Castle and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at the John (unreadable) Funeral Home at 1018 South Mill Street, on  Wednesday, evening from 7 until 9 o’clock and on Thursday, from 2 to 4 o’clock in the afternoon and from 7 until 9 o’clock in the evening.

Services will be on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the funeral home, with Rev. Lynn A, Shindledecker, officiating. Interment will be made in Graceland Cemetery.
